- To qualify, all of the following must be met:
- The patient lives in the United States
- The patient has NOT been diagnosed with a condition outside the liver (extrahepatic disorder, e.g., biliary atresia)
- The patient is being evaluated for a possible diagnosis of PFIC or Alagille syndrome (ALGS)
- One of the following describes the patient:
- Currently has, or has had, cholestasis with an unclear diagnosis or without a diagnosis of a condition outside the liver
- Has an unexplained long-term (chronic) liver problem, such as jaundice or abnormal liver function tests
