About this test
VENTANA PD-L1 (SP142) Assay is an FDA-approved, qualitative immunohistochemistry test that uses rabbit monoclonal anti–PD-L1, clone SP142, with chromogenic detection on VENTANA BenchMark instruments to detect PD-L1 protein in FFPE tumor tissue. It evaluates PD-L1 expression on tumor cells and tumor-infiltrating immune cells to classify PD-L1 status and support PD-1/PD-L1–directed treatment decisions.
